I am a decendant of Stephen J. Wally. He immigrated to US around 1880. He was married to a Rosalie or Rosalia Egyed. They had one child who traveled with them to the US and all other children were born in the US. As far as I can tell from a census, I cannot see they were naturalilzed nor can I find him or the family on any passenger lists. I was told he was born in austria, but cannot confirm that. No other records exists other than where they lived before they did and names of other children. I also wonder about where he lived because Egyed might be from hungary which I somewhat understand Vienna and Hungary were the same area around the 1800's.
