Saying having this brick wall is driving me "crazy" is putting it mildly, it's gotton to the point of pulling balls of hair out (you should see my bald spots), crying jags, and even arugments with family memebers. It's all over trying to find info on my g/grandfather George Lewis Jennings and his wife Mary Miller (Mueller). It seems no body knows "nothing" Come on now , how can you not know your grandfather , surely your parents have said something about him, even if its bad. The only thing I had to go by was the family said he was born in Altmar, so I wrote to the historian, answer back was "nothing found" . I wrote to Barbara Dix, answer back was the same. I got lucky and came across a 1920 Oswego census of the family. That said little but I did notice that there was a gap in ages between the first and second child. Was he married before , maybe he went to jail. This isn't a case of "they really know nothing" Their silence has only made my curiousity jump into overdrive. I'm going to post what I do have on the family with hopes that someone has been though the same as I have and maybe they can give me new avenues to try. It just seems odd that I can't find anything more on George and Mary, their marriage, births, deaths, and their parents. Nothing!.
