The Bavarian section of Germany near Kleinladenbach and Breidenbach is the "home" of a batch of Reitz people who were related to Seibels, Schmidts and a few other typical German names.

Johannes Reitz 2 1779 -- Anna Margaretha Meyer, dauther of Elisabetha Seibel and Johannes Meyer
Elizabeth, Johann Heinrich, Johannes 3 (Ludwig), Christian, Johann Jacob, Johann Jost, Johann Georg -- were born between 1818 and 1839. Eliabeth died Johann Heinrich lost his wife and kids in Germany and then came to Fond du Lac, Wis. Johannes 3 remained on the family farm. Christian, Johann Jacob, Johann Jost and Johann Georg call came to Fond du Lac, Wis., as did their mother, who became the first person to be buried in the Town of Forest Cemetery that is associated with St. Paul Lutheran Church, Town of Forest. They also occupied much of the neighboring Town of Empire. The four single boys who came to FDL married and fathered 33 children. My great-grandfather was Johann Georg, the youngest. Henrich lived with him. Johann Georg married Rosina Hinn. Her father and grand father -- Jacob Hinn 1 and 2 -- founded St. Paul with the assistance of 16 other members.
Johann Henrich has married Anna Elisabeth Weigel, her mother was a Meyer.
Christian married Friederika Augusta Kolbe
Jacob married Anna Margaretha Petri with Henry Seibel as a witness. Anna was the daughter of Johannes Petro 1 and Anna Margaretha Meyer.
Johann Jost Reitz married Anna Krug.
Johann Georg married Rosina Hinn, the daughter of Jacob Hinn 2 and Anna Elizabeth Balzer.
As aforementioned, Henrich did not remarry but Jost had 4 kids, Christian had 4, Jacob had 12 and Georg 13.
The eldest child of Geoge was Marie, my grandmother and she married George Schmidt. They had Anton, August, Kate, Laura, Bertha, Ella and Loretta. Ella is still living. Loretta was my mother.
I have more than 80 pages of names and trees for Krug, Seibel and Bechler as well as some information on the Desmonds and the Foys. I would be glad to share. I have found Reitz family members in Washington, Oregon, Nebraska, Kansas and then other Reitz people who may or may not be related, scattered about the U.S.
