Isabel Jane age 2 1/2, and Charley Age 4 were placed by U.S. Army Officers in the home of Ed and Lois Whitcomb Boblett around 1864. There were said to be from Missouri. Their mother had died and she was going by the name of Simmons at the time of her death. The first occasion Mrs. Simmons and Bobletts met her was while traveling to Prescott from Alberque. Children stayed with Bobletts and moved on to Washington State. Isabel marrying and living in B. C. Canada and Charley married Agnes and lived in Gettysburg WA 25 miles from Port Townsend. Would like to contact ancestors lines or descendants.
