I've discovered a couple of Paul ancestors I can't place. Esther Paul b 1878ish (m. David Friedman in 1898) and her mother Bella b 1830ish (divorced). There may also have been a brother Louis. They would have come over from Russia in 1890-2 and settled in New York.

Any leads would help-I've seen a number of naturalization papers were the name was changed to Paul but none seem 'right'. Yet.
