I have just found a 1875 record of Michael Wogan in the Onondaga Poor House and a pauper and aged 73. On the assumption that he passed away there, would the death record be in the Poor House records, County or City of Syracuse records? Was the Poor House Records separate from other governmental systems?

Any assistance appreciated as I live in Western Canada.
