Calvin Crockett Hoy(e) was born in New Bern in 1835, apparently to a J. and Elizabeth Hoy(e). In 1850 he is listed as Calvin Hoyn and is living with John Clark and his wife Eliza in Pulaski Co. as a 15 year old. I suspect that Eliza may be his mother. I am interested in finding whether any of the following exist in Pulaski, Montgomery, or possibly Wythe County. 1) A marriage record for Eliza(Hoy(e) or Fugate) and John Clark; 2)a marriage record for a J. Hoy(e)and Eliza/Elizabeth ?; 3)a divorce for J. and E. Hoy(e); 4)a birth record for Calvin Hoye; 5) a family Bible record or a record in a county history; 6) Eliza Clark's death certificate around 1880+- 10 years 7) a will for Eliza Clark.
