Calling all descendants of
Charles Ludwig Kasper
(13 December 1832 to 12 August 1888)
We wish to commemorate the History of the Kasper Family in New Zealand, on Anzac Weekend 2014 (25th of April 2014 to 27th of April 2014) in Warkworth. This would also mark the 125th Anniversary of the passing of Charles Ludwig Kasper
At this stage, we would like to get an expression of interest of who will be able to attend.
Once we have an idea of numbers, we will be able to put together a Programme of Events, costs etc for the weekend. At this stage there will be a Tour of the Family Cemetery at Mahurangi East and a day out on the Jane Gifford once owned by various members of the Kasper Family, Dinner at the BridgeHouse Lodge once owned by Fred Kasper. We are also hoping to gain access to Kasper House formerly called PineGrove – the old family homestead.
The Committee will also be compiling a book of all the branches of the Kasper Tree. If you have any old photos no more than 3 generations down from Charles Ludwig Kasper or information we would love to include these as well. The book will also be available, for those who are unable to attend the Reunion.
