Surnames: Todd, Daniels, Craig, Elder, St.Marie, Wagher, Gaylord, Wolverton, Livingston
I am looking for others who are researching my family surname. Other surnames with this one include Todd, Daniels, Craig, Elder, St.Marie, Wagher, Gaylord and Wolverton. I especially am hunting for the parents of Hugh Livingston b 1821 d 1883 in IA and Mary Ann Todd b 1821 and died 1911 in IA. Most of my ancestors were immigrants from Scotland, Ireland and France who came to PA, Canada etc and moved westward with the expansion of the wagon trains and railroads. Most settled in IL, IA, SD, MT. Most were white, Anglo- Saxon Protestants who for the most part were educated. They farmed, ranched or had small businesses. Quite a few had the rambling gene and traveled extensively.
