The only draw back on all of this info on Philip from Chaucery records etc is that the family notes say "Phillip was from Wales and was a soldier in the American army of the revolutionary War". There is record of him in 2nd revolutionary War of 1812.

If the War was incorrect maybe the family reference to Wales meant his ancestors were from Wales.
