I have been away from Ancestry for two years, and I thought once I reactivated my membership many unanswered questions regarding my great-grandfather would be finally answered and/or resolved through the World Deluxe membership. Unfortunately, I remain in a stand still.
My great-grandfather Charles Harry BROWN, was born 13 Sept 1898 to Howard Brown and Annie Hitsman. He married my great-grandmother Eula May Bell GENOE on 2 Oct 1926 in Carleton Place, Ontario. Together they had five children, Lyle Roy (b.1927), Sheila Anne Marie (b.1929), Raymond (b.1931), Winnifred (b.1933), and Sonia Fay (b.1938).
My mother tells me my grandfather, Lyle Roy, and granny, Gladys, shared with her my great-grandfather died at a young age and it was a heart attack.
Ancestry keeps bringing up public family trees citing 1935 as the date of death but my mother said he couldn't have died in 1935 since his last child was born in 1938.
I would like to know if anyone has the missing piece of the puzzle in regard to where an when my great-grandfather died and which cemetery he was laid to rest.
Sometime ago, I contacted Maple Ridge Cemetery in Winchester, Ontario and they have no record of my great-grandfather buried there.
My mother told me when my great-grandfather died, my grandfather Lyle Roy, had to drop out of school at the age of 9 (Grade 4 or 5) and go work to provide for the family in absence of my great-grandfather which may have explained some of the issues my grandfather had in raising his own family when he married my granny in May 1946.
I believe my great-grandfather may have passed in either Vernon, Winchester, or Carleton Place, Ontario between the years of 1938-1946.
Any information anyone could share would be most appreciated, since I have no idea when the next round of death certificates will be released publicly to Ancestry from the Register General of Ontario.

Hi Alana:
Yes, this would be my great-grandfather. Would you be able to resend the obituary without anything highlighted?
Thank you so very much for your help - you just made my birthday!

I think I also have your great-grandmother's obit. Do you need it?

P.S. Forgot to ask, do either of these newspaper clippings have dates/source info?
Thanks again, Alana.

Eula's obit (attached) came from the August 21 1967 Ottawa Journal newspaper (page 26)
Brown Clipping #1 - June 25 1945 Ottawa Journal newspaper (page 19)
Brown obit - June 26 1945 Ottawa Journal Newspaper (page 16)
Let me know if there is anything else from the Ottawa newspapers you would like me to look for.

Hi Alana:
Is there some sort of subscription you have, or is it free to search?
I would be interested to find any information on my great aunts and uncles (siblings to Charles Harry Brown). There is very little information on Ancestry in regard to them.
Here is the names and info I can provide:
Gertrude Hilda Brown (b. 8 Sept 1895 - d. 5 Sept. 1936) - would be interested in an obituary if possible. Her husband Thomas Robertson was born abt. 1896, unsure of date of death. They married 24 Sept 1919.
Queen Victoria Brown (b. 24 May 1900 - date of death unknown). Only have birth registration, no marriage, death certificate, or obituary.
Winnifred Brown (married name Dunfield) (b. 5 Dec 1902 - d. 26 Dec 1949) - have birth registration, and marriage certificate, but no obituary.
Georgena Anna Brown (b. 16 Jul 1904 - d. 11 Mar 1955) no birth registration, marriage certificate (unknown if she married), and no obituary
Robert Dalton (Dot) Brown (b. 22 Dec 1906 - date of death unknown) only have birth registration, no marriage certificate (unknown if he married), and no obituary
Thomas ("Tommy") Arthur Brown (b. 19 Apr 1909 - d. abt Aug 1977) - only have birth registration, no marriage certificate (don't believe he married), and no obituary
George Howard Brown (b. 7 Jan 1913 - d. 12 Oct 1918) - no birth registration, death certificate, or obituary (cause of death unknown)
Very little information is provided about my great-grandfather's side; it's almost like they didn't exist!
If you feel like it, or are able, I would appreciate any information or help I can get.
Thanks, Alana.

Additionally, my great-grandfather Charles Harry Brown had five children (again, little information in regard to the Browns). If you are in a position to help, I would more than welcome a reply. Please do not feel obliged in any way, Alana.
Here's the information and what I know:
Sheila Anne Marie Brown (b. abt. 1929 - d. 14 Feb 1996) married Gérard Lemire (b. 14 Mar 1925 - d. 27 Mar 1973) in 1946. Unfortunately, I do not have a birth registration, marriage certificate for either, nor obituary for either.
Raymond Brown (b. 14 Jun 1931 - d. 5 Jun 1952) no birth registration/certificate, no obituary.
Winnifred Brown (b. abt 1933 - d. date of death unknown) (died in Montreal, Quebec, I think). Husband Louis Widder (b. 29 Nov 1931 - d. 23 Feb 1990) he passed before his wife, and I also do not have a birth registration/certificate for him, no marriage certificate, or obituary for either.
Sonia Fay Brown (b. 6 Feb 1938 - d. 23 Nov 1964) no birth registration/certificate, one obituary, would like more information if possible. She was involved with a man named Joseph Denis Pilon (b. 1924 - still living I think), she left two boys one named Joey, and the other Bruce both Joseph Denis Pilon's children
Thank you for all your help, anything would really help, I have been working on this family tree since 2012, and have subscribed twice to Ancestry and keep coming up empty handed.
