Please call your State Senator today and ask them to support HB 184 that will set time limits on the confidentiality of records held at our State Archives. Currently a State Statute has made certain records confidential forever and access has been cut off to many records on individuals who have been dead over a hundred years. I cannot stress enough how important it is to get this bill passed asap before the General Assembly shuts down for this session.
