My name is Tom Austin & I am looking for info on THOMAS 'PEDLAR' PALMER, a one time World Bantamweight Boxing Champion from Canning Town. I am especially seeking info on whether or not Pedlar married and/or had children. My gmother, AMELIA ELIZABETH, was a Palmer from Canning Town who in 1928/29 married by gfather, WILLIAM GEORGE AUSTIN. I'm wondering if there is a connection between gmother & Pedlar. The only info I have about Pedlar was provided by the IBRO (International Boxing Review Office), the dates of his birth, death and boxing history. I am aware that there was an incident which landed Pedlar in jail, but, I feel that such things contribute to the uniqueness of one's family history! Any info would be greatly appreciated.
