My grandmother was Mary Lynch. Her birth parents were James Lynch who died in 1887, Trescott, ME. He was married to Mary Andrews. After The death of James, their daughter went to live with James sister, Susan (Lynch) Cluney, Boston. Mary was born abt 1884 and adopted abt 1894. James and his wife, Mary, had a son named John who was born abt 1882 in ME. My understanding is that John continued to live with his mother after the death of James. They may have had other children. I don't know. I can tell you James father was Peter Lynch. His mother was Margaret. They lived in Lubec, ME. Peter and Margaret had several children. Some names were: Catherine, Peter, Ellen, Susan, Mary, James and a few more names that I don't have with me at this writing.
