While doing genealogical research for another client at the Washtenaw County Courthouse, I came across the following death certificate and am transcribing it here in the event that it might of use to someone:

Benjamin F. Ott
- Born Aug 24, 1911 in Arkansas to Moody A. Ott & Mary C. Stroud
- Married Clara Koves
- Never served in the armed forces
- Worked as a nursing services supervisor
- Resided at 1210 Ridge Rd, Ypsilanti, Washtenaw County, MI
- SS# 371-18-1160
- Died on June 1, 1984 at the age of 72 at St. Joseph Hospital, Superior Twp, Washtenaw County, MI (following an inpatient stay)
- Cause of death was cardiopulmonary arrest (1 hour) due to ischemic and valvular heart disease (years); also had chronic renal failure
- No autopsy was performed
- Funeral arrangements handled by Greer-Logan Funeral Home in Ypsilanti, Washtenaw County, MI
- Burial on June 6, 1984 at Washtenong Memorial Park in Ann Arbor Twp, Washtenaw County, MI
- Informant for death certificate was spouse, Clara Koves Ott (who resided at same address)
