I have been researching my family tree for the last couple of years but have hit a dead end and hoped someone may be able to help me. I have been able to find out very little about my father or his immediate family as I was taken in to care at a young age as were my siblings, from what little I have found it seems my Dad was not a very nice person but I would still like to know more about him and his side of my family. I believe that he had two sisters Mary E Carter & Lillian Carter both born in Sunderland in 1948 & 1950 their parents were Norman Carter & Mary Ann Carter (nee Lamb) but I have not been able to find out anything about them including if they are still alive and if they have family and I hoped that other users may be able to help me.
