In researching one branch of my family tree I've found a bit of a discrepancy. I have a Mary Hirst/Hurst/Hearst who married James Broadley in West Yorkshire (though I can't find any record of the marriage). I had linked to someone else's tree where there was a date of birth for her of 1793. However I've discovered that she was widowed and re-married and through that marriage found out her father's name was John Hirst and he was a clothier. The only birth of a Mary Hirst to a John Hirst who was a clothier in Huddersfield around that date was in January 1797. However her first child was born in 1812, which would mean she was only 15. Would this be possible?
