William Lynn, 1869-1961 was born in Carncastle, Co. Antrim. He was a District Inspector with the Royal Irish Constabulary, and latterly with the Royal Ulster Constabulary, where he served with distinction throughout the Province for 40 years. He won awards and medals, including an MBE in 1938.
His wife was surnamed Duffy, his sons Jack and William Aloysius. His father was John Lynn, also of Carncastle.
I am searching on behalf of his granddaughter. A family connection would be good, but I would value some advice about researching in Northern Ireland as well.
