WILLIAMSPORT: Ron passed from this life at home with his family by his side on Sunday, May 17, 2015. Ron Waugh was born on February 5, 1945 in Xenia, Ohio to Ben and Marg Waugh of Jamestown, OH.
Ron is a VietNam Veteran. He served in the Army from 1967 to 1969. His training was in Georgia, he served the first year at Fort Meade, Maryland and the last part in Thailand.
Ron spent his childhood in Jamestown, Ohio. He attended Greenview High School. He played football and played drums in the band. After school and on weekends, he worked at Harold's St. Clair Station and helped out farmers.
On July 01, 1966, Ron married the "Love of His Life", Linda (Sue) Speakman.
They would have been celebrating their 49th anniversary this year.

Ron is survived by his wife, Linda; sons, Andy (Becky) Waugh of Pataskal, Ohioa and Ray Waugh of Williamsport; grandchildren, Molly, Brandon, and Becca of Pataskala, Ohio, Paul Hill and Jesse Hill of Circleville, Ohio and Cody (Candice) Johnston of Amanda, OH;

Those preceding him in death are his parents, Marj and Ben Waugh; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Beaman and Flota Speakman.Ron worked at RCA for 23 years.
Ron was a kind, thoughtful man. He had a great sense of humor and he laughed a lot. Ron never knew a stranger.
Viewing hours are 1:00-3:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, and the funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 21 at Wellman's Funeral Home, 1455 North Court Street, Circleville, OH.
