I was researching my husband's side of the family and was looking for more information regarding his grandmother's family from Lida Russia/Belarus. His grandmother's maiden name is Humber, and her father's name was Nicholas Victor Humber and was born in Lida in 1882 and passed away in the United States in 1968. He was married to Jane (I do not know her maiden name) who was born in about 1894. My husband's grandmother, who is still alive, is Helen Jane Humber (Moore). I would ask her more questions but she is very elderly and lives several hours away from me. I would love any help or direction on this!
