I'm an adoptee (birth name Barbara Brogan, b. Bronx 1964) looking for my birthmother who I have reason to believe was Mary T. Brogan, b. June 1943 in Castlebar, Ireland to Ann Timlin. She was the oldest child in her family and likely migrated to the NYC area about 1960. I have reason to believe she may have migrated back to Ireland sometime after my birth. I was adopted through the Spence-Chapin agency in Manhattan.

Any information about her or any other relatives in the US or Ireland would be welcome. My birth father was also an Irish immigrant to the States, arriving sometime in the late 1950s to the NYC area. He, too, was from the West of Ireland and may have had a sister already in the States (I don't know his name).
