Looking for information about the Atkinson family backwards from the Barbados to whence they came. The Barbados Atkinson is Walter and his relation (my grandfather) is Lionel Walter Atkinson who moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia somewhere in the early part of the last century. There's relatives buried in Barbados but I don't know the history before that. Regards, John A.
