Seeking information about George KERN and his wife Anastasia HIMMELSBACH of Schutterthal, Baden. Their son, Anton was born about 1807 and migrated to New Orleans in late 1854 on the "John C.Calhoun". He married Brigetta SCHMIDT on board ship and later in a Catholic ceremony. Would love to hear from any German cousins. Any help with information on this family would be greatly appreicated.
