I would be grateful of any information from the 1861 census on the Sykes family.
They were living at 157, Harehill Road, Littleborough in 1871 Census. Mother Ann was a widow ,aged 49, and she was living with her sons William 24, and Joseph 21. Ann was a Cotton weaver born in Ripponden, Yorkshire. I would like to know the name of Ann's late husband and if they had any other children. The family later moved to Oldham in Lancashire where William was a Blacksmith at an Engine works.
