I am looking for the Michael MCGuire who was issued land in Tippeconoe Co, Indiana, in 1831, 1833 and 1834. Some land purchased in conjunction with a William McGuire. I have looked at all availabe Tippeconoe Co., Census records that I can find online, but no Michael McGuire.

Is anyone researching the McGuire's who came out of North Carolina abt 1820 and settled in Ohio and then later in 1830 in Indiana??
Would appreciate contact with any McGuire descendant with at least a Michael or a Samuel McGuire in their ancestry - circa 1820 to 1860.
