I am searching for a James MOODY b.c1808 or before, poss. in the Ballymoney or Balnamore area of Co. Antrim, Nor. Ireland. I have no idea who his wife was.
This James was listed as a weaver and he had a son John MOODY b. 1835 who married Mary Ann LESLIE/Lesley (various spellings) who was also b. 1835 daughter of John LESLIE (a weaver).
This John MOODY and wife Mary Ann Leslie had several children...2 of which married into the HOGG family.
I am trying to determine if this James MOODY b.c1808 or possibly as early as c1790, was the son of Alexander MOODY and Priscilla DICK of Co. L'derry, Nor. Ireland (Coleraine area) who also had sons John and Israel Moody.
