I am trying to find any information on James Rattray born between 1820 and 1840. I found a possible death date on 17 September 1900 in Kings county. I am trying to find an obituary, place of burial, death certificate, wife's name and any other information whatsoever on his family.
I live in Alabama, U.S.A. and have never done research in this country so I am clueless. I will gladly pay for cost of any copies, postage and research time.
