Surnames: Hanna or Hannah
Looking for names of parents of Reuben Hanna. Reuben was born ~1795 in South Carolina, possibly North Carolina, possibly Waxhaw region on the NC-SC border area. Reuben died 1873 in Sebastian Co., Arkansas. Reuben served in South Carolina militia from Jan 1814 - Aug 1814 during War of 1812, Capt. James Thompson Company, Col. Reuben Nash Regiment. His surname is spelled "Hannah" in list of members of Nash's regiment. Reuben married Mary Keaton in November 1814 in South Carolina. Male children include: Andrew J., Reuben M., and Milton M. By 1830, Reuben and Mary had moved from SC to St. Clair Co., Alabama; then to Itawamba Co., Mississippi, by 1850; and finally to Arkansas, by 1860. Of importance to me is to learn the names of Reuben's parents. Thanks.
