My grandmother was Hughlina Clark (nee Faulds) she had at least two other siblings Archie Faulds and John Faulds- all born in Glasgow. Their mother died in childbirth and they were shipped off to a friend/ relative on Tiree by their father Gavin Faulds. Archie had family and some names I remember are Archie (Jnr) and Mamie - who had a daughter Morag.
All a bit vague I'm afraid but there seems to be a facinating story regarding Gavin and his wife/ two wives - something my grandmother either didn't know or didn't want to share. Was trying to contact family of Archie or John who might fill in the blanks.
