I recently received deed for land that James McCrum from Sarah Shytes (Styles?) in Rollingdam. It was 135 acres apparently on the Rollingdam road. But I can't figure out exactly which tract this refers too. The deeds involved are not clear only stating that the land is "bounded on the south by land owned by William Toal, east by the Rollingdam road, west by the Greenoch settlement and north by land known as the King property." Without an extensive search of earlier land records (which I will undoutably do) there is no way to known which property William Toal owned. Perhaps someone known which land William Toal owned in Rollingdam. And judging from the language of the deed it seems that EVERYONE should known where the King property is. Everyone but me unfortunately. So if anyone knows where this might be let me know.
