I am seeking 1880 census (or later) information for Whiteside County for the above couple. I have located them in 1870 in Hopkins Township and was wondering if they stayed in that vicinity. In 1870, Thomas was listed as age 29 from Scotland and Emma as age 28. They also had an infant son, John, born in Feb 1870.

Secondly, could someone check cemetery records for this couple in Whiteside Co? I am hoping to find an obituary and/or death certificate for Emma. She is the daughter of Porter Joseph Harmon, my ggg-grandfather, and I am trying to confirm her birth location as either Massachusetts or Pennsylvania. I believe Porter's first wife was Emma's mother and I want to find information on his first marriage.
