Hi, any ideas where I could find more information about this lady and her family please? Donna Ludovina Leocadia was born about 1800 in either Evoria or Lisbon, she came to London England with her husband Thomas Collins, he was born about 1795 in either Wellingore or Fulbeck lincolnshire. They had at least six chidren, Carlotta c1819,
Eliza c1821, Louisa Leopoldina c1824, Gulhermin c1831,
Leoni(n)d c1833 and George Miguel c1835. Their birth places are given variously as Lisbon, Portugal and different locations around London where they settled. Thomas & Ludovina only appear on one census in 1851, he is listed as a 'foreign annuitant', living at 6 Lambeth Square, London.
Any ideas as to where to look for records of births/marriages, and the reason for Thomas being in Portugal would be very welcome please.
