Classification: Query
Looking for information/descendents of the family of Joshua and Ellender Ellis Leathers, originally of Kenton Co., came to Pendleton after 1860.

Children were Anna 1833 m. John Herrity after 1869; Nancy C. 1835 married John N. Collier 29 November 1865 and had at least two children, Annie 1867 (Mains)and Albert Sidney Johnson Collier; Stewart 1838 married Druzilla "Dill" King, daughter of Ellis King (who was related to Ellender Ellis), went to Texas 1878 (had Agnes, Emma, Charles, Mina and Albert Sidney Johnson Leathers); Harriet 1844 married James W. Kiskaden 21 November 1867 (had children) and Robert 1851 who was committed to the Lexington Asylum and died there.

There was a granddaughter, Ella Kiskaden, and an unidentified "Ellen" age 19 appears with the family in 1870 census. The Salmon children with the family are the children of Ann Ellis Salmon, Ellender's sister.

Will gladly share my Ellis and Leathers data.
