I have searched for Kit Martin , Marie Benjiman, , Matilda Baptiste and R.Charles for the last ten years. I'm trying to find death dates,marriage, etc. Kit Martin and Marie are from my maternal side. I have a 1900 census with Kit and my grand mother Sahra is still in the house. It also say's married and been married for thirty years ,no wife name is mention. The 1910 census that I found him in have head of household with a wife name Esther my grandmother and all the others that was mention in the earlier census were not listed.I have searched everything WW1 slaves whatever else I know and pay to search. I got their names off my grandmother's death certificate. My faternals I got their names off the marriage certificate of my grand parents. I know these people lived and died because they wouldn't have been in the census. What happen to the other recordings of these people?
