Looking for anyone else who may be researching or have any knowledge of CARL GOTTFRIED SCHEDLICH a merchant in Dresden, in the early to mid 1800's. Also his brother (Christian name unknown)who once owned the land and ran a hotel where the Bastei stands.

Carl Gottfried Schedlich had two children -
CARL GUSTAV SCHEDLICH born in Dresden 1821 and
CAROLINE WILHELMINE SCHEDLICH born c 1812 who married FERDNAND NEUMANN of Stettin.

Carl Gottfried's brother had at least one daughter -
AUGUSTA WILHELMINE SOPHIA SCHEDLICH born about 1819 who married GOTLIEB ADAM KNABE.
