Effie Sue Horsley, age 75 of Columbus, Ohio, went to be with the Lord Friday, January 4, 2013 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital. She was born May 21, 1937 in Logan, West Virginia. to the late, Leslie and Gladys Marie (Hodge) Spencer. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Burl Horsley; children, Tina, Genova, Robert, Charles, Tamara, Robin, Tony, Sharon, Kim, Judy and Charlene; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by sister Betty Aliamo and brother Emmitt Monroe Spencer. Visitation was Monday, January 7, 2013 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the O. R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 1346 S. High Street where the funeral service was held on Tuesday, 2 p.m. Pastor Claude Johnson and Jack DeLeon officiated. Interment Fernwood Cemetery.
