I'm looking for the father of Elias Elliott. In the 1860 Halifax Census, Elias is liisted with his wife, Panthea (Overby). His sister, Dorothy Nunn, is listed with their mother, Elizabeth Elliott and Henry L. Nunn, Dorothy's husband. I don't know where or when Dorothy was married, but on Elias' marriage record, dated 11/25/1859, his parents are listed as Elizabeth Elliott. No father is listed. I am fairly sure that Elias and Dorothy were born in Halifax County. By my estimations, Elias was born in 1832, Dorothy was born in 1827, and Elizabeth was born in 1796.
