I am searching for any information on the family of Richard Morgan and Eliza Kingalow (Kinchloe). He was b 1797 and died Aug 1880 in McMinn Co. He and his brother Silas Morgan appear on census records from 1830-1880, with descendants in McMinn currently. Richard's children are: Nancy b.1822, Eliza b. 1823 m. Silas M. Walker, James A. Morgan b. 1825 mar. Betsy Hainy, Sarah b. 1827, Thomas b. 1830, John b. 1831 mar. Polly Abbot, William Simpson Morgan b. May 1838 mar. Mary Jane Jones, Silas M. Morgan b. 1841. mar Mahala Givins, Keziah A. b. 1843 mar. James V. Walker, Richard A. b. 1843, Myhia b. 1845, Jacob Lindsay b. 1847 and Samuel Jasper b. 1856 mar. Pollemia. William Simpson Morgan is my gr-gr-grandfather. He fought with Vaughn's 3rd Regiment and was pensioned in Tipton Co. TN in 1905. I believe that Silas Morgan b. about 1800 is his brother. He was married to Lydia and I have some of their descendants too. Would love to share with anyone interested in any these families.
