My Ancestor John Trim was transported to Australia as a convict in 1836 for stealing boot blacking. Convict records have him born in Bristol in 1815. We have no record of his parents or where they came from. He was sentenced in the Somerset Assizes in 1836 to 14 years transportation. He was 21 and the record says he was married. He never returned to England and was married 3 times here in Australia and had a total of 12 children. I would like to find out if he had any children in England. Can anyone help with information?
