Hello

I am from Holland and since a few years I am reasearching my ancestors. Several of them were foreign soldiers who came to the The Netherlands to join the Dutch army.

On e of them was called in Holland JOOST FREESER. He was a soldier (possibly a Dragoon in the Scots Regiment). His name in English should be: JOSEPH FRASER or FRAZIER or FRAZER. He stayed in Holland and married in 1712 and 1716 in the town of Lexmond. He second marriage was with a girl from Amsterdam called Abigael Merrifield or Melleville, Other English and Scotish were also found connect to the family, the name Cook and Cooke appears often.

The oldest son of JOSEPH FRASER was called JACOB or JAMES. His second son HENDRIK or HENRY. His oldest daughter SUSANNA and his second ANNA.

If anybody knows more about the FRASER family in Scotland and knows of a JOSEPH FRASER son of possibly JAMES FRASER, born around 1670-1690 in Scotland. Please mail me
