I am looking for information on my Grandfather, Leonard Dougherty, who was born in April 1910. His "parents" were Patrick and Eunice Markham (Marcum) Dougherty. Eunice died in 1932 in Ramsey County and Patrick died 1940. Leonard, my grandfather, was "adopted" by Patrick and Eunice, but rumor has it that they were his grandparents. I believe Eunice was married prior to a John Rowan and may have had a couple of daughters prior to her marriage in 1902 to Patrick. Leonard left Minnesota around 1928 when he joined the Zellmar Circus and made his way to Texas where he married my grandmother, Madie Sorrell. Any info you have would be greatly appreciated.
