Looking for any information on John E. Willford/Wilford, wife Alice B. Willford/Wilford and children (Ethel, Ferol, Dorothy,Edith & Vernon). 1905 census shows them in rural Birchdale County, John a carpenter. Sauk Centre Herald, Birchdale column, March 1, 1906 listed Alice as ill and again March 22, 1906, as seriously ill. According to her son Vernon, she died in 1906. Minnesota has no death record for her. Would anyone know why? Also what school would the kids have attended as they were there until Dec 1908. Where would I find these records? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
