One of William Cox's children was Dora Ellen Cox, born 8 Jan 1881 in Rose Hill, KS. I am interested in finding out if there were other children. Dora married William Henry "Chub" Simmons (my line) born 7 Dec 1881 Rose Hill, KS. I have information on their children. His father, William Henry Simmons Sr. was born 10 May 1829 somewhere in NC and I would love to find out where. He married Mary Frances Lyday abt. 1866 in IN and is buried in Seltzer Srings (Sedgwick Co.) KS. It is possible he may have been married before, although I don't have any information about that. Mary Frances was born 29 Jan 1848, Clinton, (Vermillion Co.) IN. She died 19 April 1929 in Wichita (Sedgwick Co.) KS. I have information on their children. Her parents were Benjamin Franklin Lyday and Vesta Ann Rush.
