Can anyone help me. During an online book search on google I found this book on the Anti Saloon League 1929 Yearbook
It stated that George William Sherar was International Guard does anyone know what this means?

George William Sherar was very high up in the International Order of Good Templars here in New South Wales, Australia from 1889 till 1939 and went to several big events in America and England such as the International Supreme Lodge Sessions and The Anti Saloon League Sessions he gave speeches at these events. I am in the progress of sorting through pages of information I have collected from the The Australian Temperance World Journals but it does'nt explain what International Guard means'
