I am researching John Thomas Rigbye born 5 Aug 1801 at Eccleston, Douglas Chapel, Lancashire, England. Parents: Rigbye Rigbye and Sarah Hamer. He emigrated to Australia on the Lady Lilford 1839 with wife Jane and daughters Annie, Eleanor and Jane. Apparently John Thomas was married to amargaret Fisher before he married Jane and Ann and Eleanor were her daughters. Does anyone have any further information?
