Mary was the dau of John BETTS b ca 1597, Eng and Mary ??? "the School Dame" b ca 1601, of Claydon, Eng; d 1647, Hartford, Hartford Co, CT.

Samuel and Mary had a son Daniel BOREMAN b 4 Aug 1658, Wethersfield, Hartford Co, CT; d there 20 Feb 1724/25; m there 8 Jun 1683, Hannah or Mary WRIGHT b 1662, Wethersfield; d there 25 Feb 1745/46; dau of Samuel WRIGHT and Mary BUTLER, of Hartford Co, CT.

Daniel and Hannah/Mary BOREMAN had a son, Joshua, who changed his name to BOARDMAN, b 18 Nov 1702, Wethersfield, Hartford Co, CT; d 1760; m 1724/25, Litchfield, CT, Sarah STOCKWELL b 3 Jun 1704, Suffield, Hartford Co, CT; dau of Eleazer STOCKWELL and Sarah PEASE of Suffield.
