I have seen some indications that Bailey Latham was the son of John Latham of Virginia but has anyone found any documentation?

From marriage & census records I have been able to determine that Bailey Latham was born 1798 in Stafford, Va, moved to Harrison Co, Va/WV by 1820, married Catherine Dunham 1821 in Harrison Co, WV (Va til 1863), married Matilda (Mrs. Poling) in 1865, died after 1870 in Taylor Co, WV (Taylor was created from Harrison in 1844).

Bailey's marriage records do not name his parents and I have not been able to find a death record for him.

Bailey's daughter, Harriett Latham Roach was my 3rd great grandmother. Her marriage & death record provides the names of her parents Bailey & Catherine Dunham Latham.

I did get excited when I found a death record for a John Latham in Taylor Co - died 15 Mar 1878 at age 83y 3m. (Thought perhaps his name was John Bailey Latham). It states his parents were ...ert (Robert?) & Patience. Wife is listed as Julia A so that does not fit my Bailey Latham.
