Hi,
I'm looking for information on George A. WYMAN born in 1877. In 1903 at age 26 he rode a motorized bicycle from San Francisco, California to New York City. He did this by following the railroad tracks and riding on the tracks. This feat took him 50 days !!!!
I believe I have found him in the California Death Index :
George A. WYMAN, b. 3 July 1877, d. 15 Nov. 1959 in San Joaquin County, California, mothers maiden name STICKNEY.
Any one know anything about him ? Did he have a wife & children ?
I'm not related just doing research on an article to be written about him as the 100th anniversary of his ride approachs.
Thanks for any help,
Natalie
PS - I'm posting to this board since his historic trip started in San Francisco.
