I just read an account by Francis Marion Webb who was with Quantrill and he mentions riding with "Andy Owings". This is my Joshua Holcomb Owings son, his uncles are Hiram James and John Hicks George - all of Quantrill. Does anyone have anything on the Owings and Quantrill? Joshua died in 1879 -therefore he missed all the newspaper coverage.
