DONNA SCHAFFNER, 94 died December 28, 2014 at Medicalodge in Clay Center, Kansas.
She was born on February 4, 1920 in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of Orva and Grace (Umpleby) Click.
Donna was raised in Springfield, Ohio.
She served in the US Navy during WWII.
Donna graduated from Ohio State University and was an elementary education teacher in Ohio and St. Louis, Missouri.
She married James Schaffner on March 15, 1947, he preceded her in death on January 16, 1981.
She was a member of the Presbyterian churches whene she resided and served as an Elder and Sunday School teacher. Donna was also a member of the Normandy Retired Teachers Assn., National World War II Museum and the National Education Assn.
She is preceded in death by husband James, parents and brothers, Richard, William and T. Lynn Click

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home in Clay Center, Kansas
Burial will be in the Bloom Cemetery, Clay County, KS
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015 from 2:00 PM until service time at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home

Frank Click, Retired Dairy Farmer, Dies.
Frank Click, 88, of Springfield Route 1, National pk. west, died at 6:55 a.m. Monday in his home following several months of failing health and six weeks of serious illness..
He was born in Clark County on Oct. 29, 1857, the son of Emanual and Martha Jane Click. He was a retired farmer and dairy man and was a member of Rockway Lutheran Church..
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Charles Burks, Springfield, Route 1; four sons, Raymond E., William and Frank, Jr., of Clark County and Orva of Springfield; a sister, Mrs. Lydia Evans of Jackson, Miss.; 18 grand children and eight great grandchildren..
Another son, Harry C., prominent Clark County dairy farmer, died on Sept. 12 of this year..
The body was taken to the Richards Memorial Home. .
